1960 Rambler American Super 4dr.
196 LHE / AT, radio delete, Continental kit.  Sovereign Blue with Frost White roof.  Car has 38K actual miles.  Car was stored from 1981 to 1999 when I bought it.  I have put 4000 miles on it since 2000.  The Sovereign Blue was repainted in 2000.  The only rust on the car was on the front fenders back by the front doors.  The fenders had no rust on the bottom and the floors have no rust.  I did locate an NOS right fender for the car and the left fender was repaired.  The seats were redone in the correct material.  Car still has the original rubber flooring. Original Owner’s Manual along with some repair bills from the 1960s.  New brakes and lining on all 4 wheels, plus new wheel cylinders.  New exhaust, tune up, had the gas tank cleaned, plus a new filler hose for the tank.  New 560x15 wide whitewall tires by Coker Tire installed this year.  The bumpers have been rechromed.  Car handles great on the highway.  It has plenty of power.  It was featured on the LLCI quarterly newsletter in 2010 and was on the front cover.  Asking $7500 obo. This car really needs nothing.  I have another project I need to finish.  AMCRC Member. To return to the sales page click here.
