SOLD
1965 Rambler Classic 770 convertible.
232 six / AT, PS, PB.   I spent about $4,200 for all new brakes, new tires, and general upkeep.  I have the original window sticker (see photos).  The 1965 Rambler cost $3,229.85 and includes a $5.30 left-side mirror, the Owner’s Manual and a repair manual, as well as some advertisements from the dealer.  There is no rust on the body, the car is always garaged, and always starts and runs great.  The upholstery has been replaced and is in very good condition.  There are original retractable seat belts in front (a $7.50 extra in 1965). I added 2 for safety in the back.  A slow drip from the transmission is the only annoying, but minor problem.  The convertible top is in excellent condition, but I hardly ever put it up, as the car has been garaged since I bought it.  I only drive it on sunny days.  The car comes from an AMC dealer in PA (Robert Young and Sons, Easton, PA) who kept 3-4 AMC cars in his garage after the dealership closed in 1988.  I bought it in 2006 and drove it 300 miles up to Boston.  I take the car to shows or just out for fun.  It is meant to be driven, in my opinion.  Price reduced to $8,000 for quick sale.  Acton MA

I have various show awards, and the Rambler is on Wikipedia http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rambler_Classic (the brown one).  It is also an extra in the Whitey Bulger movie called "Black Mass" starring Johnny Depp: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1355683/ and the photo is from the set of the Movie.
