1964 Rambler Classic 550 2dr sed – the Romney Rambler  This historically significant car is in very good, unrestored condition.  It starts easily and runs well.  The drivetrain appears to be completely original.  The paint appears to be the factory finish and has been polished thin in several areas.  The finish has wonderful patina, and includes several small dings, dents, chips, & scrapes.  The right quarter panel has a slight horizontal crease, the top center of the grill has some imperfections, and the front center of the hood has some cracking paint (see pics).  The car also has some very minor surface rust in a few isolated areas, but the entire car is essentially unrestored and rust-free.  The interior, including the seat upholstery, also appears to be entirely original and in very good condition.  This car has clearly received a lot of love over the years!  It was ordered in base-level trim and did not even have carpets when originally delivered.  Its black rubber floor mat had become brittle and was removed.  Odometer is showing approximately 62,355 miles.   I have a clean Michigan title in hand.  I also have copies of several years of Romney's Michigan registration certificates, a letter from the FCA manager of historical services authenticating the car, and a lot of other documents and memorabilia.  $18,000.  Contact Mike in MI, 586-419-2337.
