|1962 Rambler American 400 convertible.
Brightwork is bright; glass is good. Paint has a few dings but
nothing major. Engine is the 196 ohv workhorse; transmission is
E-Stick three-speed. In the last three years fuel pump &
carburetor have been replaced, new upper trunnions installed, steering
gearbox and steering column rebuilt. Convertible top has new
hydraulic pump and rams. The car is a
half-century old so it has accumulated the usual rattles, squeaks and
leaks. Blows a little black smoke at the stop signs. Fuel
gauge is erratic and heater / wipers need attention. Slit about
an inch long on the top should
be repaired. Reno, NV. AMCRC Member

Montego light rose with white interior. 232 6 cyl engine, rare
Twin-Stick shifter, AM/FM and air conditioning. I just pulled this out
of a 30-year storage. This car has only a tiny bit of rust above
the rear tires. The rest of the car is rust-free. I put the
Keystone Raiders and new radials on the car. I have the original
wheels and hubcaps. The carb was overhauled, Pertronix ignition
was installed to replace the points. New plugs, wires and
distributor cap. I flushed the radiator as well and put fresh
antifreeze in. I have the seats out and am putting new carpet in
- the old carpet smelled horrible. The car runs and drives.
It needs an antenna and the air is not working currently but everything
is there for the air. I also replaced the original shocks with
new Gabriel gas shocks and put a new trunk mat in. I have more
photos available, including underneath the car. I have the
plastic card provided by the dealer when purchased. I need $6000
for the car. Please only ask for more photos if you are seriously
interested. AMCRC Member Dean Skaflen PO Box 486 West

|1966 Rambler Classic 770 4dr.
Red & white w/ red interior. My Dad bought it new in '66, has
always been in the family and has only been driven 51,548 miles to
date. The body is in great shape, except the right rear tail
light and fender is dented from a slow-moving driveway accident, and
the rear window was shot out by neighborhood kids and has been
completely removed. The engine runs nicely, has never been
detailed. The interior is good for its age. The exhaust system
has a Midas Lifetime warranty, so was replaced several years ago.
I use a small auxiliary gas tank kept under the hood so I can
periodically drive it around the neighborhood to keep the car loose.
The main tank contains old, solidified gas and needs to be
cleaned. My plan was to fully restore the car, but that isn't
going to happen, much to my regret. $2500 obo. Curt

232 / AT, PS, PB. Red with black Interior. Mileage is
either 81,000 or 181,000 - not sure. The car does run good and
has a rebuilt carburetor, just needs some adjustments. Looks to
have original paint with no rust. Some small dents & damaged
trim, bumpers fair. Interior needs carpets re-done, the upholstery is
original and in great shape. My family was the only owner.
This car comes with an identical parts car, white w/blue interior that
would need to be towed. There are clear titles for both vehicles
and more pictures available upon request. $2200 is asking price
for the PAIR of Ramblers. Only calls between 9am to 5pm will be
answered - otherwise use email. Contact Dwayn at

|1968 AMC Ambassador 4dr.
Bought from original owner. 67,000 miles, NO rust! All
original paint & interior (no rips or tears). 343 2bbl, 2:87
axle ratio, AM radio, PS, PB, AC (being fixed now hopefully). Has
optional shoulder harness, reclining seats, pass side mirror, new
Firestone tires, wire wheel covers, original spare tire & jack
assy. I installed new timing gear set several months ago.
Has about $500 in new parts or rebuilt items to make it very
dependable. I also added a very GOOD dual exhaust system (sounds
strong, but quiet inside). One negative - dent in truck
deck. DRIVE HOME! $6000 firm, may trade for a wagon.

|1969 AMC 390 Ambassador SST.
Second owner. New dash pad AND the original radio professionally
converted to AM/FM. Exterior repainted in the original AMC
white. This SST has the black vinyl top and blue crushed velour
interior. It has a 390 cu in engine with automatic
transmission. Dual exhaust gives away the power under the
hood. Power steering, air conditioning, and power brakes round
out the options list (yes, the A/C works!). A faded rear package
tray and original underhood paint are the only areas that give away the
age of the Ambassador. Garage kept since new, it was only driven
on beautiful east coast days. This AMC has a current
Virginia Title, located in CA. Please contact me with any
questions. Reed Wilson, Roseville, CA. Call 916-947-8586. 60

west coast car, mainly in Oregon. Many receipts from previous
(2nd) owner. Tired Clutch, but a very solid, fun to drive, and

from Grant Motors in Eugene, Oregon. Currently owned by a
long-time Rambler Club member, who needs room for a new acquisition -
$1500 obo. AMCRC Member
|1973 AMC Hornet 2dr hatchback.
232 / AT. PS, factory working AC, AM (needs repair), drum
brakes. Rust-free, solid, garage-kept & pampered all of its
life. Odometer is showing 48,500. The original paint, copper tan
metallic w/ white roof, and original black pinstripe are still quite
striking and well-preserved. The dash is excellent with no
cracks, as are the door and rear quarter interior panels, interior
trim, & headliner. The carpet is dried out, and age
& heat have taken its toll on the seats - they will have to be
redone. Chrome and glass are nice. Clear CA title.
|1975 AMC Pacer.
All original and equipped with a 232 / AT and AC. It has 45,000
miles on it, and overall, is in very, very good condition. There are
some cracks in the hard plastic interior panels. The only rust is in
the corners of the rear bumper, along with some surface rust under the
gas cap. The AC is currently not working, as it needs a charge.
This is an excellent driver-quality car - $4,800. Bismarck,
|1975 Hornet Sportabout.
258 six, AT, PS, manual disc brakes, AC (not working), 84,000 original
miles, runs well. This is a very rusty vehicle, though it is
complete and drivable. Glass is good, has working factory AM/FM
stereo radio & factory full wheel covers. Drivetrain is in
good shape aside from broken exhaust stud, makes some noise under
acceleration. Front door hinges rebuilt. Carb rebuilt last
summer. Lots of good parts that I would hate to go to the
crusher. I am just looking for about the same as a junkyard would
pay for scrap value, say $300 obo. Car is located in southern NJ.
