1958 Rambler
Six Custom with Continental kit. I got this car 2 years
ago from my mother in New Mexico. She bought the car from another
party, so don’t know much of the history. The car appears to have
nearly all original parts. It runs but engine compression is
low. The body has light rust, but nothing deep at all, and is in
really good condition, as is the chrome. My intent was to restore
it as a project with my then 14 year old son. Here’s what's been
done so far: stopped the rusting and kept it covered, bled the
brake lines and replaced fluid, rebuilt the master brake cylinder,
rebuilt the original fuel pump, replaced all transmission gaskets and
seals, replaced gaskets in exhaust manifold and other parts of engine,
replaced the fuel hose line with new line. The interior, dash,
etc. are in good condition, but the upholstery needs repair or
replacement. $3,500 obo. Stephen Wheeler, 805-886-8245 or steve@sbtaxcpa.com

American Super 2dr. 76,000 miles. flathead 6 with
AT. It is red, and has the Continental kit. Runs great for
its age. The body has no dents, but the paint is dull. The
interior is fine, except it has seat covers which are torn at the top
of the front seat. I would say that it’s in very good
shape. Asking $3500. CA. 6

Rambler American Super.
This Rambler is in good driving condition. The body needs work,
and the upholstery is in decent condition. The worst parts of the
seats are the tops on the back seats. The engine is a flat head 6
cylinder with the three speed on the column. Lights tail lights,
interior lights, & wipers work. I have $3,000 invested in the
motor restoration alone. Selling for $1,995. This is a
great deal and it's in a good location- only 15 minutes from Interstate
81 in Roanoke, Virginia. 8

Classic 770 4 dr. 287 V8 equipped car. Brand new battery,
replaced all belts and
hoses within the past 3 years Runs great and has been used
consistently, only 61,615 miles. Comes with a front seat cover and all
4 original hub caps! It is an old car so it does have some cosmetic
damage on the seats, dash, and handles. A collector could easily fix
these problems. It could use some paint and there is a minor dent over
the right tire. There is a piece of metal trim that fell of but I still
have it. This car runs perfectly and hasn't been on the highway much in
the past 4 years. I've loved this car but I am moving out of Washington

1966 Rambler
American 440 4dr sedan. 199 cu. in. engine, factory
a/c. We have owned this car for nearly 40 years (and are the 2nd
owners), as I purchased it for my wife to go to classes when we were
married 39 years ago. The car had been repainted
professionally 30 years ago, so the paint is dull. The engine was
rebuilt and has probably 15-20k miles on it. I have complete
records on the car. For the last 15 years, It hasn't been driven
regularly, but it has been exercised regularly and kept in a
humidity-controlled building. It had been in a few
"fender-bender" accidents, but these were repaired by replacing the
damaged panels, not with body putty. It did have one serious
accident, and I had the damaged sections replaced with a "rear clip"
from a parts car. I am asking $2250. Contact AMCRC Member

shows 69170 on the title dated Dec 1978. Driver floorboard is out
and the structure underneath is solid. 2 small holes under driver
seat and 1 under passenger seat. The seams between the
floorboards and inner fender wells on both sides have about a 2 inch by
4 inch bad spot up under the vents in the kick panels. The inner
brace under the passenger back window has a couple of holes where it
meets the floorboard and the seam on the right side of the trunk where
the floor seams into the fender well has rusted through the length.

This super clean and solid Hornet spent most of its life in a garage in
Florida. 85,000 original miles. I purchased the car with the
intentions of pulling the 6 cylinder out and dropping in a V8 but it’s
just too nice to mess with. The car had 1 repaint years ago, but
still looks great. No rust or bondo. The interior is all
white, and in perfect condition. All of the chrome is nice and
the tires are brand new. I do not have the original wheels, but
the rally wheels look way better. The underneath is super solid
and still has original paint on it. I just put a new carburetor
on, along with a full tune up. Everything on dash works as it
should. I will help with transportation from my end, but at new
owner’s expense. $6400. For more pictures or information

1978 Spirit AMX
Sport Coupe, 1 of 2240 total built and 1 of only 1107 six cyl
cars built. There might be 10 left. This little runner has been
completely rebuilt and can be driven anywhere. The body was solid, but
was gone over to get out all dings and dents. The left fender was
replaced, it has new base / clear black paint, the interior has all new
carpet, and the driver’s seat has been redone. The brakes lines,
rotors and pads, master cyl are all new - the car stops straight and
true. The gas tank has been cleaned and sealed, and fuel lines
redone. Being a six cyl car, I wanted more power. Because
of the rarity of the car, I just upgraded it with a complete Clifford
6+8 AMC upgrade, including a dual plane 4bbl intake with a Holley 390
carb, dual headers, with custom dual exhaust. It sounds and runs
great. It has a 4sp with
manual steering and brakes. The car has new RWL radial tires
& 4 Turbocast II AMC wheels. The rear louvers are original,
and I installed a Phoenix Graphics 79 AMX graphics kit. It has
all new door and hatch rubber and door bushings, so no door
sag. This is a great car needing very little detail
work to be perfect. The windshield has some scratches, and it needs
some minor detail items. I received 5th place out of 60 cars at
the AMC show in Springfield this past May. I want it to go to a
good AMC home. Asking $6500
